Oil(?) at Prachuap Khiri Khan

Post by caller »

(oops, 'scuse spelling in title)

I'm staying in Hua Hin for a few days and took the opportunity yesterday to visit PKK, a place I really like.

But I was shocked to see what appeared to be large amounts of oil in the sea, to the north of the main bay (if looking left from in front of the temple). This was out towards the headland. Have a look at these photo's - do you think it is oil?

The sea directly in front of the town, Wing 5 and Ao Manao appeared unaffected.

Looks more like silt from the bottom stirred up by the rough seas, we get the same in Bangsaphan.
