I am surprised that there has been no response. Hasn't anyone been to Baan Bo Nok just south of Sam Roi Yod?

Patience my friend, patience. Some of the members in here are old retirees - they take their time!

i have been to the whale resort a few times, last time the accommodation was very dirty(its huts on the beach)
the location is nice and the food great.
good for a relaxing couple of days.
but dont expect too much.
take your own sheets if you go.

years ago it was 500 baht per night, i think it was 800 per night last time i went.
:D
there are lots more little resorts in the region, but not so many with beach front huts.
also there are a few hotels but all asking top dollar per night.

Thanks, I think I will try the Whale Resort. It sort of reminds me of the huts I stayed in Samui in 1982.
