Having had another look at this as the trip is getting a bit closer - just over 3 weeks now, picked up on a couple of additional places which may be worth a visit. Thap Sakae and Ao Noi - has anyone visited previously, are they worth a look? Only really looking at day trips at the mo.

IMHO there is nothing really at Thap Sakae worth seeing that justifies a special trip (unless into sailing as per another thread), but follow the road a few extra K's to Ban Krut and you hit a speactacular, if controversial temple and a lovely stretch of beach which takes you all the way to Bangspahan.
