Hello,
For my part I listen to a lot of music I can really listen to everything but I am very much the American rap with rappers such as Jay-Z, Drake, Asap Rocky, Future, Kanye West, Asap Ferg, Travis Scott. I know it does not please everyone but I can not do without

Feeling rather sentimental tonight as only a few more days left before we leave. This song was playing when we ate our first moo gata in Nakhon Pathom almost 20 years ago.

All,

Whilst browsing/listening to videoclips wtih Carl Palmer Legacy band I came across "Jad & Deb Quintet - jazz quintet with Cello (!) playing Prog Rock and other, " Trilogy" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer, "Owner of A lonely Heart" by Yes and "Bohemian Rapsody" by Queen as well as other interpretations. They really knock me out - fascinating!

I did browse on the net - there is a link in the video clip to web site , it seems like a recording from s Jazz festival on the French Riviera in 2007:

https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Ja ... ORM=VRDGAR

I think Keith Emmerson would have loved it, and Chris Squire.

On a side note - I saw an interview on youtube with Keith Emmerson from a few years back in conjunction with Yes being inaugurated to the Rock n. Roll Hall of Fame, it turns out when Keith was working on putting a Three-piece band together which eventually became ELP (Emmerson, Lake & Palmer) , he auditioned with Chris Squire before Greg Lake. Chris Squire said he was ok on singing harmonies with the bass playing but did not feel comfortable wiht singing lead, so it did not come to fruition. Someone tipped Keith about Greg Lake and the rest is history
One Day I'm gona die. I can live with that.

Just seen this and glad to know there is a fellow ELP fan here! :thumb:

I'd already come across this interpretation and absolutely love it. It helps that I like Jazz as well. I suspect you know that Thierry Eliez, the pianist, played a wonderful memorial concert to Keith Emerson shortly after his death and also appeared at the memorial concert in Birmingham last year.

I love the way so many are now re-interpreting their music. This is another favourite of mine - very high tech!
