Um moving to Soi 80 doesn't sound like the kind of move a "stay-away" person might make!

Anyway, depends what you mean by "in the area", but you can head down to Montri/Boat House/Sam Sam area; only freelance girls there. There's a nice little bar in the soi 55(I think) area called "Suan Say Hey Haa". And there's Joe's Bar on Soi 94. Also a few bars I think have opened up on Nebkahat road between soi 51 and the main traffic lights (unless I'm very much mistaken), which don't look so girly.

Well I didn't specifically move across the street from Soi 80 on purpose. And I didn't even know what was there until I went looking for food the other night lol. Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to try and check some of those places out!

Which brings up a question, any bars around this area that I can literally just go in for a drink and not have to face temptations that to be quite honest I might not be able to resist? lol

LMAO :naughty: Been there, done that til I thought I would die

I plan an extensive excursion on Soi 80 when I come, 29 days and counting down, complete with photos and videos of my crawl. The guys back here will hang me out to dry if I don't.

I would recommend Billy's bar downtown in the bazaar area just off the road that goes to the main beach. No working girls there (other than the "off limits" bartenders and plenty of expats to swap stories with.
Thailand is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there...

You talking about the main road with the BK, Subway, Mcd's and the tourist police station at the end?

Yes, Billy's is on the left in a small walking alley as you walk down towards the beach about 100 meters past the intersection that goes to the Hilton.

Billy's bar next Winter, when I get to Thailand again, That is after Nov 2015, assuming

I'm sure I saw King Kong bar open last night as I drove past.
