New bars pop up all the time. He comes once a year. Does he not have the right to ask about a bar he may have heard about that may not have been around when he was in town the last time?

This is undoubtedly no more than a casual enquiry that just happens to be a first post and not yet another attempt to publicise a mate's new bar.
I'm obviously becoming far too cynical.

no i am not pushing somebodys bar i just want to know where it is. is it in the bintabar?i thought maybe it was where the boat restaurant was because i know that tom and gee were closing sometime this year

Buckley's is a new bar with great atmosphere. Very much a sports bar with rugby, cricket, golf and football.
Owned by Kin and Ozzie Graham, nice couple and very attentive staff.
Great new pool table good beer prices, what more do you want.
