Dunno who pk67 is/was, but if any drinks are to be given out it's to the good,honest folk who are on this forum who supported us almost from reply #1.
I was not looking for any free publicity, but feel somewhat proud that HHAD regulars on here see my wife & I as honest folk. Thank you very big.. :-)

Romantic has been one of my favorite places all over Thailand and for years for its safety, great owners and wonderful staff. I sometimes got out of that heaven late and 'maw maak maak' but always ended up in bed safe and happy. Can't wait to get there again for a few cold ones and certainly don't believe the crappy words that started this post.

For my sins I have not used Romantic as much as I maybe should have when I am in town.
I remember Cupids Arrow going right through the middle of my heart with one lady from the bar, I can remember taking her to the Hilton Brewery bar and she actually got me dancing, I was very proud because she was stunning eye candy and a great mover.
I forget the finer points but it was a short lived romance.

"I had 6 jack daniel n' cokes...which aren't really strong in thailand"He's lucky he didn't drink Leo as well!!!Beware the new posters like this who invariably just post a complaint to rubbish someone for their own means.Like an earlier poster the only time I have seen/heard of a drink spiking was also at Soi Cowboy at the old Tony's bar...A group of us were out for a night and a guy with us had been seperated from us and somehow managed to blurt out to me and a mate that he felt funny and his tongue was numb..we subsequently dragged him into the bathroom and forced him to be sick and got him home.He was still laid up in bed all the next day and felt average for another couple...that's a spiking(I think!!!)

But the OP was married and visited the bar together with his wife. So why would the waitress spike his drink? The idea of spiking the drink is to go home with the victim, have him fall asleep then rob him ...
