Re: how safe at night
I feel HH is one of the safest small towns I ever been in, most of the time I,m walking or bicycle home in night. When walking the only threat is the dogs, but some stones helps. But in a town of 60-80 thousand inhabitants it,s naive to believe that nothing bad happens.

Always very safe when I have visited!
Re: how safe at night
I agree with HHADfan! My visits have been exactly as stated.
Re: how safe at night
never felt any danger 2 years in Thailand. Back home you are almost guaranteed a fight or something at nights

Thailand is quite safe providing you don't associate with the wrong people and you leave the loudmouth, tuff guy act back home in falangland.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It may be rubbish - but by golly it's British rubbish.
Re: how safe at night
Been to HH a couple of times and wandered about late at night both with gf and alone and not had any issues, unlike just about any other city in the world. I remember how surreal it felt which really added to the charm of the place.
Re: how safe at night
Hi,
I have been to Hua Hin many times and always felt very safe there as well as most places in Thailand.
For the last few years I rented a room along Canal Road, at both ST Appartment and A1 Appartment.
After reading some post here I am now seriously wondering if it is still as safe to ride along Canal Road as it used to be ? I often come home late at night on my motorbike ...
Would you even recommend one not to stay in that area at all ?
Thanks for any feedback.
