Congratulations Bamboo Grove - wear the yellow cap with pride. Commiserations Big Boy - you have a nice wooden spoon to stir your broth with. ;)

I'm sliding down towards the bottom of the table - seems to be my favourite spot...

No idea what "stint" means. Perhaps tire type?

Stint means a block of time, as in "he did his stint at the wheel". Working offshore on rotation was sometimes referred to as a stint.

I believe here it is referring to separate runs made on different tyres(not them tire things ) with the S being soft and the M medium. The different colours with S being soft and super soft, which coincides with the colours the tyre has on its marking band. Maybe!

FP3: Ricciardo edges it as Verstappen crashes out in Monaco

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/head ... onaco.html

The Red Bulls continued to show the rest of the Formula 1 field a clean pair of heels in Monaco's final practice on Saturday morning, but there was trouble for Max Verstappen as he ended the session with his RB14 in the wall.

Daniel Ricciardo and Verstappen had traded quickest times throughout the session to head into qualifying as the favourites. But with just 8 minutes left on the clock, as he was sat on top of the time sheets, Verstappen got it wrong coming out of the Swimming Pool complex and hit the outer wall, ripping the front-right off his car.

When the session restarted, Ricciardo was immediately on it to go fastest of anyone, just 0.001 faster than his team mate. The time improved on the outright track record that the Australian had claimed on Thursday, taking it down to a rapid 1m 11.786s.
