It's that time of year again ...

https://predictor.talksport.com

You can login with your account from last year.

Then join the following mini-league:

name: HHFORUM
code: FD6E1-JXX

Game week 1 starts on August 13 ... get your predictions in and let battle commence!

Already? I haven't recovered from the trauma caused by last season yet. Let's hope this season is a bit more sane and predictable. Pete

Hi buksida,

Same as last year. Doesn't let me enter the code. Only an Apply button to click. Did that. Now you have to let me in.
Could be the same for other people.

Works for some, not others - I'll manually approve those that have applied and can enter automatically.

You have to go to this page: https://predictor.talksport.com/minileagues/home.htm
...and put the code in the section named: Join a Mini-League (Invitation Code)

I made the same mistake Roel did, but then found the above page and it signed me up to the league automatically. Pete

Be a first for me!!

As to registering, I've not had to put the code in - simply logged in as normal and applied to the HHF league (exactly the same as last season from memory).

[EDIT] Christ, we haven't even started and I'm in last place!!

I'm curious about something. Playing this for 8 or 9 years now I've found my results are better if I simply make my picks based upon the knowledge I have, without too much reading or referring to the book makers or pundits about certain matches.

Am I in the majority with this thinking, or do many of you look for help from a variety of sources each week? Pete

Over the past two seasons, I've resorted to praying and making offerings to the gods. Still hasn't done me much good.

Just a gut feeling for me. I often hit the top early on, but struggle to achieve a top 6 finish, which is always my goal.
