Just a comment in case some not following the news. Team Renault used to be Lotus. I think Lotus was in bad financial condition and Renault bailed them out and took over. No idea if the team still has Lotus people/management. Pete

I'd like to make a target of 15+ players this year. Once BB and Pharvey sign up we'll have 12, all regular players each year. If and when you talk to other forum members, nudge them a bit please. I would like to keep the membership within the forum. Pete

The second confirmed driver for Team Manor per the BBC is:
Rio Haryanto
January 22, 1993 (age 23), Surakarta, Indonesia
Team: Manor Nationality: Indonesian Born: 22/01/1993, Surakarta Grand prix debut: N/a Races: 0 Career wins: 0 Career pole positions: 0
Assessment: Haryanto brings with him about £10m in sponsorship from Indonesia's state oil company, but could possess some ability to go with his 'pay driver' status. He finished fourth in last year's GP2 series, winning three races.

Re: 2016 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
I was looking at the schedule and it appears all race dates where the teams have to travel long distances (continent to continent) are 2 weeks or more apart, except for the below. My prediction is that Baku will be the most screwed up race of the season. How can they get everything from Canada starting late on a Sunday after the race, to Baku for practice 5 days later on Friday? A monumental logistical task. The things heart attacks are made of! Bernie at work again to "make things interesting"? Pete

Ridiculous new format set for qualifying
Yes I know... There's about only one thing that's *not* broken in F1 at the moment. Let's see if we can't change that then...

Thanks Pete - I've rejoined subject to approval. Last year I had to give up half way as work saw me constantly missing the prediction deadline, no such problems this year I hope.
