I was very much looking forward to this series, until they announced there would be a "fan boost" system, where viewers get to vote for which driver they want to give a speed boost to.

Thought I'd at least give this a try.....

Not exactly the turbo charged V6 roar of Formula 1, but Formula E kicked off in Beijing yesterday with some excitement of it's own (see ~ 45 sec into video) when Nick Heidfeld and Nicolas Prost became "closely acquainted" on the 25th and final lap.
