I'm glad I'm not a gambling man as I'm doing terrible in this tournament so far. Pete

WOW, what a game between Australia and Ireland. Perhaps people watching on replay so won't say anything, except that this match-up IMO is the best of the tournament so far. Pete

Have to agree - a cracking game. Having been away on site for a while, just catching up on recorded games...... The LHG has given me a pass for a day or so......... she's shopping!

Re: The Rugby Thread
Underdog Chiefs went into the locker room at the half ahead 42-0 Second half was all Highlanders scoring 22 points. Ended 45-22. No bonus point for the Chiefs. Wind was a factor but not a deciding factor. High heart rate game! Pete

Re: The Rugby Thread
With the exception of the Crusaders, the New Zealand teams are not dominating this year as they've done in the past. I think there may be a reasonable chance to see the All Blacks beaten by someone during upcoming tournaments. Pete

Re: The Rugby Thread
Not really Pete, it was expected - at least in Wales. The guy has been knackered physically and thought a year off would work - was always 50/50 at best. I believe he has some decent job/sponsorship offers, so life will be good (perhaps not as good as the Wendyballers though).PeteC wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 8:59 am Quite a shock.

Pool name: HHF Rugby Championship 2018
Pool code: kentpomp
The tournament kicks off on the 18th of August with Australia hosting the "Blackness"....

Re: The Rugby Thread
Cracking game. Crusaders certainly looking the top club team in the world right now - 2 Super Rugby titles in the past 3 years, 9 now in total. Have to feel for the Lions though - beaten finalists for the past 3 years.
Incredible defense from the Crusaders though and a top class game from the Fly-half Richie Mo'unga, who will surely be challenging Beauden Barrett for his place in the "Blackness" this coming Rugby Championship.
