Fantasy Football League

Post by Mick Wittering »

I've set up the Hua Hins Sports League for the new season of Fantasy Premier League. The web site is already up and running so you can start selecting your teams now at http://fantasy.premierleague.com/

This year I'll set up an overall winners prize and also a manager of the month prize for our own league. Cost of joining the league, payable up front, will be Bht 1,500.00 of which 500 from each player will go to the overall winner and 100 from each will go to the manager of the month. There are 10 months of matches, albeit only one game in May. If you want to gamble a little more I'm sure Osmo is up for waging a bottle of vodka each month with you, which last year a few of us drank together in a pool competition in Bamboo Grove (I'm not sure who lost the most bottles though, JJ or Osmo but who cares it was a good night)

You will need to contact me at mick@huahingolf.com to obtain the code for joining the league which I will give to you upon receipt of the 1,500.

Please pass this message on to any others who you think will want to join in

Best Regards

Mick

Uhh, I lost four and JJ lost seven, yes there was plenty enough to get one totally to never-ever land as I later discovered. Couldn't get my bike in at the end of the night. JJ tried to help me, but was not too succesful (I think his arm still hurts although the bike's mirror is now ok) and Paul won all the money in pool. Welcome all to the league.

Hi Mick,
I've added it to the events calendar with a link back to this thread. Let me know if I need to change the date as I've used todays.

For those unfamiliar with this fantasy league I can recommend it whole-heartedly! The web site is amazing and although 1,500 might seem a lot - you have 10 chances to win most of it back and a chance to win the overall 1st prize. Even if you get no return for your money, by joining the league - all these premier league games over the season will have an added interest for you, which in my opinion is money well spent.
Thanks Mick for volunteering to organise this event - but I must warn you that your luck is gonna run out! :-) I'm :guns: for you.

Almost half way through the season. At the moment I own Mick 3 bottles of vodka, Mick owns me one, I own JJ one and JJ owns me three. These 8 bottles will be on the table for free today at Bamboo Grove starting at 20.00. Other beverages and food are also available but not free. A pool competition will start at 21.00.
Welcome

The season is over. Congratulations go to Scotland to the winner. Somebody finally broke Mick's empire (he'd won the first two seasons.) Don also finished no. 7 in Thailand and no. 541 in the world, which is a great achievement as there were 810,449 players.
As a whole we had 6 players in the top 50 in Thailand. Thailand was number 32 in the competition (winner was of course Finland where the football experts of the English football live.) Unfortunately our league (HHSC) didn't make it to the top 50 league.
See you next season.

I "diving" very bad finished March and all April, May. :(
At best my ranging was 9700-9900. I don't know What the hell I did finish season.
Something positive we have with my friends two times fantasyteam race and now I'm doublechampion.
