How did you find this forum
Hi
I wish I had found your forum earlier as I have just moved into Hua Hin with my wife and kids and have had to do everything the hard way as opposed to getting the info from the 'horses mouth'.
Excellent forum, must be one of the best I have seen and also one of the best moderated.
Congratulations

Hello all,
Like most peeps here, I was doing a general search on Hua Hin and this site came up, luckily enough. Lots of info.
Never been to that area but my wife ( from Issan ) says its one of the best arears in Thai. Seems pretty good from all the pics. would love to pick up some property there at some point.
Out of curosity, do most of the people on the forum live in HH? If so, what sort of work do you all do? ( Hope thats not a bit too straight forward! )
Any Paddys down there?
Kevodes

I havent been to Hau Hin for a couple of years.
In fact I havent been to Thailand for a couple of years
Wouldn't life be great if work didn't get in the way.
Anyway I found this site whilst looking around different
forums trying to catch up on the changes.
Looks like Bangkok is going to be a whole new ball game.
But it seems from what I've read here your all still managing
to do your own laid back thing in Hau Hin and not following
the big city madness too closely.
Very much looking forward to being back in 7-8 weeks time

Found it through the Thai News.Like to keep in touch with whats going on as only get to the Kingdom once every couple of years.Hua Hin is great the way it is and would hate to see it go the same way as Patong.
Been a member for a few months now, came across it when searching for stuff on Hua Hin on google, as planning my first trip in June, it has been really good and interesting - though makes me want to be there a lot sooner.
Thanks for all the info guys and maybe i will get the chance to buy one or two of you a pint for all your help
Chris

I'm new!!
Hi there - I guess I must be the newest member seeing as I only found the site a couple of hours ago! I found it by doing a web search too. Hua Hin is my favourite escape/relax spot if I happen to have been working in Bangkok (been many times). I was there for Songkran a few weeks ago, which was great and very different to Chiangmai, which is where I am usually for that festival.
I live and work in Chiangmai and the UK - know Chiangmai and the North really well as I've worked up there on and off for over 10 years. I see a few posts relating to travel up that way so maybe I can help in the future.
Really like HH - should be back later this year!
cheers and beers

Hi, I found HHAD whilst looking online for somewhere to rent. I've used ThaiVisa for info for about 12 months now for other areas of Thailand, which was fine, but didn't find the HH forum to be used very much so I was pleased to find this site. (I actually picked up a link from TV to here).
I apologise in advance as I will probably be asking a lot of daft questions about HH over the next few months as we are arriving in December and I have a lot to learn!

Just a few days ago, I decided to move to the beach, near Khao Takiab, after two years of living in Chiang Mai. I found this website from the link on the Hua Hin forum of Thaivisa.com/forum
