Where to get a medical certificate

Post by StevePIraq »

I need a medical certificate for work, any suggestions where I can go? I don't need anything fancy so BKK Hops, San Paulo, HH Hosp not needed.

Most clinics will do them, but they're not comprehensive. Sometimes you don't even see the doctor...

I know, there used to be one on Phetkasem road but long closed now and I don't know of any others

There was one just a bit North of the town centre traffic lights, on the left heading North, just after a couple of opticians and adjacent to a chemist, is that the one that's closed?

If you take a wander down any main high street you should come across a doctor's clinic (they're almost as prolific as 7/11 shops).

Good luck,

Well I must be blind, I even asked my wife and she said must go to the hospital, but then again she says that even for a sneeze. However I have had one specific recommendation, opposite Big C on Pala U Road, where they do the blood tests, apparently no exam just pay the money and get a certificate. I will go in the new year.

I wonder if they do Masters Degrees as well?

And yet you can't name or locate a single one.

Same medical cert no matter where you get it. At BKK hops it's 380b. Last week I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Driving license threads say they can be had for 50b near the Land Transport Offices in Cha-Am and Pranburi but didn't say where. How much is your time worth looking for one of the prolific doctor's clinics?

No, sorry, I can't because I left the area a few years ago, and things change. When I worked in the area, there were quite a few clinics along Petchkasem Road - which is where I got my medical certificates for my work permits.

Dr Samut Clinic on Petchkasem. Opposite side of the road to Soi 80. I only ever pass it early mornings these days but it's still got his signage up.

I've used several clinics, but could only name 1. Dr Pairat, the eye specialist just South of Market Village also does General Practice.

I beleive the one that closed was the Petcharat Clinic, a few years ago now. There is, or was, a small clinic in the same area where I got a DLT certificate a couple of years ago.
