Would it be possible to advise which insurance company you are with, I realize it is through AA. I have been through AA and cannot get cover at 5,000 Baht a month and I have no pre existing conditions.

Try MSH International (their Asia Care plans). For Asia-only I was happy with their Plan 1 'Essential Care' levels of cover and cost of premium. Inpatient only and oncology (incl. all drugs). Direct billing with Bumrungrad Hospital, Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, and many others. I didn't cover any pre-existing conditions, not sure how they look at that.
