I suppose some of here may get complacent about malaria - I know I do.
Maybe it's time for a rethink if anyone's going to the Northwest border with Burma?

I work in Angola so it is a normal thing for myself to keep up with Malaria & prevention methods. I have used Malarone & other pills as well as a number of sprays etc. But i have found the best so far is lots of spray with high Deet concerntration, long sleeve shirts& long pants & limit expose to outdoors during the night. But as i only spend a day or so either side when going offshore or coming back in from offshore my exposure time is limited. But if you ever see the full effects of Malaria first hand it is one hell of a nasty thing to have
