Chiropractic

Post by Gin tonic - no lime »

Hi I'm just going thru a bout of back pain, and have use the services of a Chiropractor here in Canuckland with good results in. Thinking back 2 years, I needed to find one in Thailand. Despite purchasing my first English - Thai Dictionary (the big fat purple one "SE-ED'S") and explaining what I needed to my then current TGF, I could not get anyone to realize that it was not "traditional Thai massage" that I needed!!
Does anyone know of a practitioner in the HH area?
Guess this info should be PM'ed to me as it may constitute "promotion" of a business....
Thanks :D

Hi I'm afraid I'm using TukTuk Mike's profile in his absence (I'm his wife) as I haven't got around to creating my own so I hope this isn't going to cause a problem.

Anyway, there is a chiropractioner in Hua Hin. I'm afraid I don't know the name of the road but his name is Dr Frederic - he's american and runs a surgery until 8pm daily sorry I don't know what time he opens.

If you imagine Tesco Lotus on your left hand side, take a left turning at the lights and you will see it on the right hand side of this road just before the street vendors. He charges about 1,000 baht a session.

Mike had a problem with his back previously and he got him back on his feet. Good luck and get well soon

Which style of the practice is this?

i regulary used a Mc timeny chiropractic (this is a more subtle form of the art of bone cracking ) in the uk and found it most exellent fo my aches and pains and some of the sounds he got out of my skeleton were fantasic with almost instant releif try and see

Unfortunately as far as I am aware he has left Hua Hin due to lack of custom and headed back to BKK please correct me if I am wrong

For those who think chiropractic treatment is just like a Thai massage it is far from any massage you will ever have ,This form of treatment is as old as the hills and has many forms and styles and is now being recognized by the modern general medical profession as true medical practice.
Strange when it out dates most forms of medicine and practices as it is thought to have derived from the Chinese Tui Na practitioner’s art, as has chiropractic’s rival Osteopathy, the two are similar but not the same
