We need to replace the lead in cable for our internet connection and I am looking to source locally cable similar to the above (1 or 2 Pair) all weather with a solid copper conductor circa .5mm dia. If per chance anyone is aware of a supplier for direct burial galvanized steel wire armour (GSWA) phone cable locally also it would be greatly appreciated (hopefully this would provide a greater degree of mechanical protection against the pesky vermin and overly enthusiastic chungs )

We found GSWA Cat5 cable at Thai Watsadu but that was around 4 years ago. Could be a useful place to try if you exhaust options closer to where you live.

Thanks kindly JJB for your advice.
Managed to find a place on Canal Road on the RHS of the carriageway heading north that has quite a good range of electrical/comms cable as well as coax fittings etc. Likewise a reasonable range of electrical test instruments. Can also order in quality test gear such as 'fluke' etc. The owner speaks fairly good English.
