Floodlit 5 a side football pitch

Post by bigideas »

A new 5 aside football pitch has just been made and is open for use. It is turfed and looks quite spectacular. I briefly spoke to the Thai chaps who own it last night and they are keen to get in contact with football teams or prospective users. They are asking for 600-700bt per hour.
It's location is on Chomsin Road (Hua Hin soi 70). It's somewhere between Chomsin Rd soi 10 and Chomsin Rd soi 16. It's on the opposite side of the road to the Royal Golf Course.
I have a 10 year old boy who would be very interested in being part of a team. Subs need be no more than 60-70bt once a week per player. Anyone interested in getting some teams together?

There is another one here, opened and operated by the Observer: http://www.x-plodehuahin.com/

Also one just off Soi 94. Doesn't look open yet, but the turf is in and nobody was working last time I went by. Two fields end to end. Whole thing is fenced to keep the ball in. Hmm ... does that mean one can play carom shots? On 94 coming from Petch, turn left just before the railway, then it's less than 100 yards.

It looked open last time I went past Homer, I've applied for a season ticket in the newly opened West Upper, plus I know someone (Yamsaard teacher) who said they've played there.

I saw another being built the other day but can't remember where now, think it was around Soi 96-98 and all their /1, /2 & /3's. Also there's one going to be built soon across from our house in Pattana 2 Soi 94, ie: just inside the turning between the new gym/bar tender and the shop/Bella Mia restaurant.

Football crazy :D

Same old thai story, you get one guy with a good idea, the thais see it works and then you get about 50 of them.

^^ Yeah, typical Thais, eh? Let's hope it doesn't catch on, or we'll end up with all sorts of fast food crap in every city in the world...

Last photo was great

Couple of things though. I was wrong saying north of BK hospital. It's actually west

LUFC flag is facing north on my condo and my west Yorkshire flag is facing west

yes , im upset there are so many football pitches popping up, I have a huge amount of shares in 7/11 stores , and were hoping they would be building more on those plots of land, damn those football mad thais and farangs, still 95percent are still addicted to sugar ,nicotene, caffiene and alcohol so I should be ok. just adding to the sarcasm that this forum excells in. yes the more footy pitches the better , as you can never get on the one at soi 10 anyway as its always booked out.

we need an old gits and out of shape fat boy league, with guys that just want a friendly kick about , the thais and the regular farang players take it all too seriously and there are too many injuries. Anyone fancy a kickabout on a wednesday at one of the new pitches .
