Why do you want to sell? Im building a house in soy 6. Have you found something better?Takiap wrote:We're living in Takiap near Jumjuree condos but the unfinished house is up and along soi 6 Hua-Hin. There are some projects going on there at the moment as well such as the new Natural Hill development. It's in a great area and will certainly be a good investment.
Hi scorpiolady
It's a fantastic area but my eyes were bigger than my bank balance as such. I thought we could do it with the budget we had but by the time we bought the land and built to the stage it is now the money has run dry. I'm paying off a bit of a loan for it and also paying rent for the house we're living in at the moment so we are hoping to sell and buy something a little bit cheaper. Belive me, I have lived in Thailand for a while now and if I had more cash I would certainly not be wanting to sell because I really like the area.

Hi Clive
Okay if you go all along Petchkasem road and turn left into Soi 6. Go over the railway line until you come to the back road. Dirrectly in front of you there will be a small bridge - cross the bridge and swing right straight away. Just follow the road and look for signs for the Natural Hill development. Once you get to the turn off for natural hill, my one is the new unfinished one on the left with a black tile roof. Window and door frames are in but no windows or doors yet. Land size 880 square metres, house size 108 square metres.
Like I said in my last reply, if I had the cash I would not be selling but thats just life I suppose.
Give me shout if I can help - thanks
Shane

Sorry to hear that,I hope everything will get sorted out for you and that you find something else. And of course you will,a smaller plot of land will be cheaper.Takiap wrote:Hi scorpiolady

Hi scorpiolady
Yes it's a pity because it's a lovely area. When we bought the land a few months ago there were none of the developments starting there at the time so seeing it all taking place now tells me we could have made a good profit in a year or two. Like I said though, thats just life so we'll have to find something smaller at first

Hiya lomuamart
No this is strictly due to mis-calculating in the first place. The builder we used was always open and honest with us and even did quite a bit of work for free. In fact he was a bit of a pain because he was wanting us around all the time to check.
I hope we can get this one sold, buy something smaller and then maybe go bigger in a few years

How can you mis-calculate?
You should always allow another %+ on any development. That's a given in any country.
Again, sorry to hear your story. I hope you get the figures right for your next place.
