The place is in the centre of the night life area, so not far to get home at the end of the night. They gave very good reports about the place, no extra charge for guests or problems with the place being friendly to their guests.

Test idea before you book anywhere is to email the hotel first, ask the relevant questions and then if they send a positive reply, take a copy of that email with you, just in case there are any problems.

You will find plenty of cool laid back bars there, nowhere near as busy as Phuket or Pattaya, but I always feel like I have had a holiday when I leave Hua Hin as you feel very relaxed. My trips to Phuket in particular, I feel like I need another holiday to get over the holiday I have just had.

If would advise you to book a cab pick up from BKK airport or whereever you will be in BKK, so you can bypass the minivans, dodgy airport cabs, local bus etc. I was in Hua Hin just over a year ago and used the local Hua Hin cab company that advertises on this website. If you cannot find it I think I have the details still on file.

They turned up at my hotel in Bangkok on time, driver was 100% safe, car as a late model 4WD and all in all a good trip. From memory was around the 2500baht range. After travelling to Hua Hin previously by Local Bus from BKK, minivan from BKK and airport cab. The local guys are by far the best bet.

Have a great trip
Thanks for the suggestion this what am looking for my next trip chelsea many thanks for your valuable inputs.

A friend of mine was staying at a small hotel and paying 2 days at a time. When he went to the desk to pay again after 4 nights there the owner said --- Why no lady come to your room, you want nice lady?

I stayed at Chalelarn Hotel in Sep 2017 and it was 100% guest friendly, reception does not even require registration or ID check of your guest.

No this is an old post but just for those searching.
Found Visa Hotel GF, no joiner fee, although I'd is not taken.

Hand in hand?! Then the reception staff will know she's not your wife
Good point :D

Seriously though, if you stumble in with an obvious tart in tow and a silly grin on your face, the hotel porters will sense the opportunity for a payoff. Walk in with a touch of attitude and a serious expression. If anyone challenges you, say quietly and firmly 'it's OK' and don't stop walking as you head for the lift. If you have to wait for the lift and get challenged again, look them straight in the face with your best condescending 'are you mad?' look, and say 'it's OK' again, but a little more slowly..

The late Alan Whicker once advised that the best way out of a sticky situation in foreign climes was to be terribly British - it works..
This is great advice, and it had me laughing my ass off! Good stuff!

OK, I dont know for sure and with everything in Thai it depends on the day but if you asked me to make a guess as to THE most guest-unfriendly hotel in HH, my guess would be the Centara.

What's your point T.O.M.? After the political fiascos in London and WDC,it is the 3rd most important issue that concerns me

To me both buyers and sellers in the meat trade are equally embarrassing.....

Each to his own, if you like. I prefer to take my pleasure with somebody elses.
