Jings Resort

Post by Gus »

I have just had an email from Jings saying that they are opening a Jings Resort out of town, complete with pool etc etc rooms are from 1650thb per night inc breakfast.
Jing is still keeping Fenny Foo rooms.
The old Jings has been taken over by a Danish man and Thai wife/friend and will probably have more ladies than Jings used to have.
As long as they have vacancies then I will stay at Fenny Foo although under the new setup you can mix and match.

Ihavea friend an oill man who comes 3 timesa year. He is very well paid and flies first class but always stays at Jings as he finds it very friendly and comfortable and he has no problem bringing in guests for the night.

The new 'Mix and Match' venture has got a lot going for it. The reputation of Jings is very good and the resort would be attractive ( with company)to many after 4 days in town. As the resort location has many restaurants and bars in walking distance - I think they have a little silver mine in place. good luck to them

Certainly didn't when it was Jings. I delivered a couple of friends there a couple of years ago - could barely get the car up there.

That's a problem with the downtown places. Would like to stay downtown sometimes, but getting the truck there, and parking, always keep us out

Depends how far downtown you want to be. The Silom and PP villa hotels both have parking and they're very central. 2/3 hotels just the other side of the Petch Road also have parking. I'm sure there are others.

I use this place. Easy walking, and off street parking.

I know all about Fenny Foo but the original part of Jings went to new owners recently, I did hear that they were going to change the establishment a little, I just wondered if it had a new name or new changes in format.
I will be staying at Fenny Foo if they have availablity.
