Hotel / Guest House in the center
Hotel / Guest House in the center
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a nice accomodation close to HH's nightlife. I read some reviews in this forum and also found some suitable places at bookingDOTcom and agodaDOTcom.
My criterias would be...
- not more than 1500 baht; cheaper is better.
- is in the center or close to it (walkable)
- have a balcony
- have a fridge
- have a pool
- is guest friendly
So far I've found..
- Baan Manthana Hotel
- Royal Express
- PP Villa Hotel
- Jings Guest House
- I-Rooms Hua Hin
Does anyone has personal recommandations?
Thank you!

go on agoda and look on the map, choose your area and trawl through the hotels,
read the reviews carefully if Wi-Fi in your room is a must and reviews say it did
not work in there room you are warned, and don't book too many days in advance,

Jings doesn't have a pool, if that helps you.

Thanks! Sure this info helps.Gus wrote:Jings doesn't have a pool, if that helps you.
Thank you. This seems to check all my boxes and couldn't get any closer to the night life. With 1500b, although at the ceiling of my budget.richard wrote:Sukwilai down Binta it'self

Stayed at Jings for a week 1st week August. Brilliant place, 900 Baht a night for one of the newer bigger rooms and almost smack bang in the nightlife on Soi Selakam. Couldn't fault it. As for the pool - Jings is 5 mins walk from the beach. I swam every day and didn't die from rocks or jellyfish

Great info. Does this rooms have a balcony and a fridge. I don't mind a pool too much, but a fridge to keep my drinks cool and a balcony to enjoy them is high on my list.Liberty70 wrote:Stayed at Jings for a week 1st week August. Re: Hotel / Guest House in the center
I just stayed at the Sirin Hotel, couple of blocks south of Bintabaht. It has all your looking for @1500 a night with breakfast, which isn't much to rave about. It's clean, the pool is over chlorinated as most are, has a fridge (small minibar that I took their drinks out and used for juices and fruits), smile at you when you come back with Thai girlfriend (didn't bother to get her ID) , safe in each room and has a balcony. Is close to beach but, I won't go in the water there ever again, pretty nasty. Found you can get it cheaper booking directly through them than a travel agency.
Home is where you hang your hat
