Depends on your budget.....High end Hilton or Centara...Mid range City Beach

Would agree with sateeb. Both for nightlife, shopping and beach it hardly gets better. And Girlfriendly (they say). But watch out, the disco in the cellar keeps you wake at night and the lift id full of package tourists.

There are a multitude of low priced hotels all around the two action centres in Hua Hin.

Action centres?

Soi Bintaban and the surrounding block. At least a dozen low cost good value hotels there the most popular and best known being Jings and Sukwilai.

Soi 80 has at least 6 low priced hotels in the vicinity.

Just cruise round and ask a few loitering farangs

Hilton and Centara get my vote too, but you can reach anywhere with a scooter.

What's the best hotel for 2000 per night? With no disco downstairs or upstairs for that matter. I gotta get up for golf in the mornings.
