I'm not familiar with that Patters hotel, but Jed Pee Nong always seems a safe bet in HH. City Beach also remains popular, and both are very central. But there are stacks of others in your price range which are within staggering distance of Bintabahn, and a link somewhere on here to them.

The Residence Garden is more like a serviced apartment I believe, with living room, kitchen etc.

I can't recall seeing talk on here about serviced apartments in HH, are there some? Pete

Don't think so. The nearest to serviced apartments might be Hin Nam Sai Suay out North on Petkasem. Hardly walking distance of town but an easy motorbike taxi ride.

Fresh Inn Hotel.
Excellent Location. Near beach, restaurants. Not far from night life.
Renovated.

Somewhere around US $45.00 night.
