This may be resurrecting an old thread but i thought the title was good.
Well i went out for diner last night in soy bus station the bars were OK, and i had some interesting conversations.
But the post is to tell all you people who are lovers of Italian food to go to Bella Pizza Restaurant. The food was excellent and at a fare price , the restaurant was clean and the waitresses were well turned out and very good at their job.
I didn't have to wait very long for the food and when it came i was very pleased with the presentation.
The owner is from Chiang Mai ,yes Thai owned and he said he has 30 years experience making European food pizzas. And will deliver what the radius is i don't know.
Well that's it i had never been before and have no financial involvement , i just wanted you to enjoy an excellent Italian food restaurant with a wide and varied menu.

On the soi near the beach with the stop light that doesn't work if you turn toward Hua Hin is this restaurant in the soi that has the German restaurant (also very good) and all the little bars.....and near Crawfords?

IMO Bella Pizza Restaurant make excellent pizzas but the rest of their 'Italian' food is crap, (each to their own).

Great fresh seafood restaurants at the fishing harbour.

The new Grand Pacific hotel has a fantastic authentic Chinese Cantonese restaurant but of the 5 times we've visited, we were the only customers there which is very strange!

Great live music on soi 8 at bar chang. Frequented mainly by Norweigans.

Best place for pool - Pink Flamingo.

If your young at heart the Sand Grain Disco is a good late night venue - with lively young Thai Bands.

The Alila hotel is a good place to visit for somewhere classy and out of the ordinary.

A great place for a one hour stroll in peaceful landscaped and wooded surroundings - Cha Am Forrest Park.

Best place to go near Cha Am is Hua Hin...
Seriously though. I always used to enjoy going to Crawfords. Speaking of Crawfords, anyone know how John is? last I heard he was quite ill...

I stayed at the Regent Cha Am almost 4 years ago very nice hotel great pool, i would like to know since it has now become the Holiday Inn Regent Cha Am has it changed.
At the front of the hotel if you turn right there is a great little soi and some good restaurants, this was my first real taste of Thailand, i want to go back there because i met a Kiwi called John he stays there 5 months a year, me and a friend went around his house to watch the rugby, and he took us to HH he's a great guy and i would like to meet up with him again.
Kendo.

Thanks Python.....now where the hell is that?

I don't go out except for groceries and golf (kidding). I know four roads in Cha Am:

The one to the beach and/or Tessaban (stoplight)
The one to the day market
The forest road
the one off the stoplight road with the stoplight that doesn't work.

Never seen a sign that says Soi BussstationAny of these helpful direction-wise? Is this place anywhere near Crawfords?

Thanks again for your assistance.

Places to go - ChaAm

According to my map their are 2 bus stations. The one on Petkasem, near the banks, and another on Chao Lai Rd (which I suspect is 'Soi Bus Station') between Narathip and Soi 1 South.
You can find this quite detailed map on the reverse of the Best Map of HuaHin Stadtplan by P.A. CO., Ltd.

When you walk the Chao Lai Rd the one off the stoplight road with the stoplight that doesn't work to Crawfords, you will see after ~250 m on left side "Soi Bus Station". Take the right side, and after ~ 100 m there is Bella Pizza.

If you don´t find, please PM, then i sent you a map.

I agree that Aroi is the best.
But for seafood Med Sai at the north end of the beach is my favourite.
