Regent Cha-Am Chalets

Post by marsh »

Hi There,
Does anyone know of these holiday chalets in Cha-Am, there seems to be
120 of them on the beachfront, I would appreciate any feed back.

Also, are there any places close to Cha-Am or Hua-Hun with clear seas to snorkel or swim in ?

Thanks marshy

The part about snorkeling has been asked many times before. The water is not clear around here and I would think it would be a very boring snorkel. You have to go a couple of hours south to find good, clear snorkeling water... around Chumpon.

It's called Regent Chalet at Regent Beach Cha-am.

They have a website: www.regent-chaam.com/index.html

Nearest place for any sort of reasonable snorkeling is Ko Talu (off Bang Saphan Yai), about a 3 hour drive south of Regent Chalet.

Swimming should be ok at Regent Chalet though

Stayed in the chalets last year for four days, they were running a 2 day for the price of one sale.

Didn't swim in the ocean much, the weather was bad, but it looked nice enough (although I agree with the others about it being not good for snorkling).

Facilities were very nice.
