:lach: :lach: Welcome to the forum, Deep Blue. Search a little deeper.
You see, this is the kind of stuff that's been absent of recent!

Regarding the 'tranquilizers' Dtaai Maai, I've recently made a move from weed to ketamine if you must know. Sue me.

I vote to UN-BAN everyone that's been banned or suspended and see what happens. Could be fun... could be nothing. :D

Dunno where you got the idea that Sandman, Super Joe and Baabaa were banned ... their accounts are all still active.

So you'd want to wade through a load of spam and shite everyday which is what would happen if all banned accounts had access again. Neither would us mods, this board has been thankfully spam free since the software was upgraded.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

No, No... not the spam. Bring back the REAL people who were banned - not the robots.

...just bored, which I fear will be the case for most soon.

I do wonder what happened to BaaBaa. One minute he was here and then he just upped sticks and left. SJ actually took the time to explain his less frequent visits and once Plum had gone, I think he thought his life's work was done. :D

Sandman, just as one or two others before and since, had to return to the UK to make ends meet. Maybe It's more difficult to make a return in such instances?

I belong to a few forums, some to do with Thailand and it seems the way of them all.

I suppose Deep Blue has some uses?

I know quite a few Americans and have found that most of them are thoughtful, courteous, polite, generous, interested in others`opinions and generally fun to be with. Then we have the opposite side, boorish, foul-mouthed, self-opinionated, loud and self-centred. Which side of the fence do we think Deep Blue is on? Not that he would care about our thoughts of course. BTW the humour (with a u) of John Cleese is very outdated and followers show a degree of adolescent mental ability.

Think Sandman was going to write a book. It would be interesting to know if he finished it.
I wonder if the banned want to come back ....perhaps some are back with different identities, not hard to do I wouldn't think, how would we know? :naughty:

Dude, this thread is not about me, I haven’t been banned yet. Lol, you Brits love to be sarcastic and undoubtedly sarcasm made Cleese’s humor classic - can there be anything as funny as mocking Christianity.

Please get used to American-English spelling of humor because we are 320 million to your 64 and if you dudes again do something silly like burning down our White House, we will change the name of the language to American and drop the English completely and then force it on the rest of the world. Never mess with USA, we will crush you.

I agree with the mods on this one.

I, for one, am glad to see cleaner, more informative threads without a load of petty insults flying between people who have either been banned, or are no longer active posters for one reason or another.

There are plenty of sites you can go to if all you're interested in is witnessing a ton of mud slinging.

Well yes, mocking the pomposity of individuals who claim superiority of their land of birth over other less fortunate souls.

Just like you did to the Vietnamese?

Bring back the banned that had more than say 100 posts. That's should weed out the spam-bots.

This forum used to be fun and knowledgeable but now it seems just a place for information for the new guys; like, where is the best place to live? That is followed with the same answers every time which gets pretty boring in my opinion. Yes every now and then some new questions pop up and that's a good thing. I like the sharing of new restaurants and bars but that comes up on my Facebook page everyday from the many Hua Hin groups out there so yes it is nice to read about on here but this is not really the only source anymore.

I don't have the numbers but I would be willing to guess things have slowed down on here quite a bit. I don't mean the same questions asked from a new person and the repeated answers, I am talking about from the regulars on here. This place was once full of opinions and debates that made it interesting and fun, not so much anymore. I have spoken to a couple long time HH expats and they seem to agree. Like I said I don't have the numbers but it sure feels that way to me.

Perhaps the owners like it this way and if that is the case they are free to run it how they want.

Bloody Hell - Honey, if you’re a dudess or dudette (under 20) you need to indicate that in your screen name, that’s internet protocol.

Nam didn’t do anything to us, so God did smite us bloody good for our stupidity and wickedness.
