Childhood memories
Re: Childhood memories
During the winter months we would play "Old Maid" on a Sunday afternoon
Re: Childhood memories
I can't remember my childhood, in fact I remember very little of the details of life before moving here... must be something in the water!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Christ, I'd forgotten that one - not too sure we called it "French Cricket" though...dtaai-maai wrote:French cricket. The 'bowler' has to hit your leg with a tennis ball (thankfully), while you have to get the bat to it first.
Marbles, Conkers, British Bulldogs were all favourites. "Supertrumps" was a card game that was very popular when I was around 8 or 9........ Then of course touch rugby (and not that king of touching!).
