Seems like that'd be the category with the hardest competition, by a good margin.dtaai-maai wrote:Best Whinger, for the poster with the most complaints about life in Thailand.

^ I submit myself for nomination in that category!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

And finally we could have a presentation ceremony which would give us a chance to put the face to the userames. Anyway just a suggestion. And finally the nomination for category 1,2 and 4 this year is---------- How Do You Scare A Monkey To Death ?
Good idea. To be held annually, with the awards ceremony at the Dusit Thani.
Buksida (on stage): And the winner is.... Whoever!
[wild applause]
Buksi: Unfortunately Whoever can't be with us as he/she is otherwise engaged in UK/USA/Aus/Wherever, but Richard has kindly agreed to accept the award of a free dinner at the Dusit Thani on his/her behalf...
Another category - forum drama queen for the poster who has most often threatened to leave the forum.
I am all for having the HHF Oscar Seremony at the Dusit Thani as long as the expense is not on me
There is a post somewhere with a vodeo clip included of a bar girl from HH who joins a group of parachute jumpers down at Prachuab - it is both a great watch, good fun and exiting, I would vote it as the best overall contribution for posts from the area.
I'll go back and see if I can locate the link

I agree to grant the Hua Hin - Farang Oscar to the thread about "How Do You Scare A Monkey To Death" for the funniest thread of the year.
I think "Big Boy" should get the HH Oscar as " Producer Of the Year".
I have tuxedos in 2 sizes, one before I gained weight and one after I gained weight. I am currently fluctuating bewteen the 2. I volounteer to be the toast master - as I have proven to be quite eloquent and verbal, I enjoy showmanship (I also enjoy shoe-manship - so I have many shoes to choose from) , and feel at home on stage.
If my CV is waranted I can post a picture of myself and my wife here, with her in a Thai Wedding dress and me in a Tuxedo.
As for performance style I am somewhere between Rod Stewart in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall and Tony Benett at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino – Fort Lauderdale, without the singing - unless you provide a band.
Time permitted I may put together my own band - "Frank La Rue & The Siam Forever - Band"
