Hua Hin Forum "Oscars"

Post by dundrillin »

As a fairly new member to the forum i have been impressed how interesting the Forum is. I was wondering if the forum has ever awarded any "oscars"? Categories could be 1/Best Thread 2/ Most Hilarious. 3/ Most Useful 4/ Best Newbie. Obviously other categories are possible, suggestions please. And finally we could have a presentation ceremony which would give us a chance to put the face to the userames. Anyway just a suggestion. And finally the nomination for category 1,2 and 4 this year is---------- How Do You Scare A Monkey To Death ?

I think Jaime's stool thread of a few years back takes some beating - humour and vulgarity - a winning combination!

Good idea. To be held annually, with the awards ceremony at the Dusit Thani.

Buksida (on stage): And the winner is.... Whoever!
[wild applause]
Buksi: Unfortunately Whoever can't be with us as he/she is otherwise engaged in UK/USA/Aus/Wherever, but Richard has kindly agreed to accept the award of a free dinner at the Dusit Thani on his/her behalf...

I don't think an Oscar would be appropriate - more inclined to give it a Lifetime Achievements Award.
Championship Stoke City 3 - 0 Plymouth Argyle

Points 48; Position 20

Excuse me Richard, if your feelings are hurt, then please remove that cliche at the bottom of your posts about how you don't give a s*** about what people think about you.
