My daughters' nick names are Bam and Boo, which makes Bamboo. When I opened a restaurant in Hua Hin, I named it Bamboo Grove. Bamboo is also my favourite plant.

Came to work one day on my motorbike, took off my helmet and my hair was sticking up. A mickey-taking colleague called me 'plume head'. When considering a user name, 'Mr Plume' didn't work for me, so truncated to 'MrPlum'.

Obvious really.

"I'm Brian; and so's my wife!"

The very boring initials of my wife and me, although she lets me do all the posting

RICHARD OF LOXLEY

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Mr.VS picked Parahandy because he's a Scot and likes the character. I joined a short while afterwards and chose Parahandy's boat - Vital Spark. Yeh, I chuff along sometimes, and occasionally annoy the hell out of him, but at the end of the day he couldn't survive without me...

Yes, mine is just my name and the only reason it's in capitals is because I'd never used a forum before and in my work we always enter data that way.

I think mine must be pretty self explanatory. Born & Bred but not lived there for a long time.

And so you should be blushing right to the roots of what hair you've got left, "Mr. Can?"
