Rolf Harris convicted under Operation Yewtree will probably get a token 2 or 3 year prison sentence.

Is this what has become of justice in this country? In the good old days they'd have stuck him on the next boat to Australia.

What we must remember here with people such as Rolf Harris, Jimmy Saville and types like Gary Glitter etc. used their "stardom" to lure young girls into being abused by them.
Yes, some girls are quite mature at 15 years old, I myself looked about 18 years old at that age.
Rolf Harris however recently downloaded appalling images of child abuse from websites offering picture of ‘little girlies’ and ‘tiny girlfriends’, it can be revealed for the first time. When Harris was first arrested on suspicion of indecent assault, police examined his computer and unearthed evidence of indecent images of children.
This is really disgusting, as so many young children that are abused are permanently damaged for the rest of their lives. Children should be protected not abused.
I wonder if Rolf Harris would approve if his own daughter was abused by someone at the age of 13? That is what he did.
Anyway...going to be charged today...hope it's jail for him!

Doesn't compare. The girl was 19 and it only took her 45 years to come forward in 2012 and he wasn't particularly well known at the time. Didn't become an MP (although tried to) until 1974. Not sure what the Police have been doing since and it's still only an allegation, although IUC'd, he wasn't arrested.

Unless this story has now been 'leaked' to see if anyone else will come forward and /or because of the fact this now news-again missing dossier passed through his hands.
