Restaurant for wedding anniversary

Post by Hahuahin »

Hi!

Can someone recommend a good restaurant to celebrate a wedding anniversary in Hua Hin? Btw, we are both well "over the hill" so good food and a charming place with the possibility to hear what we say to each others is more important than free Wi-Fi :)

I would give the Chocolate Factory in Soi 65 a go. New building, modern design and a varied menu at reasonable prices for the quality. Parking on site is a bonus. I was there tonight and enjoyed it.

What cuisine appeals most to you, what's your budget, and do you fancy somewhere central or a little out of town?

We celebrated many anniversaries at Supatra By the Sea in Takiab. My wife always loved the food and the view. Some, if not most nights they have soft live dinner music as well.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Thank you for the replies. Budget, well the better half have made to live with me for 15 years so I should most likely say no limits but then again I like quality before quantity if that can be a hint. Cuisine, we like most we get served. But I have actually a tendency to go more exotic /oriental than my other half. She often choose Western food when she can!

I have to check out the Chocolate Factory, maybe its only the restaurant name but I'm addicted to sweets. However "Supatra By the sea" seems to be more in line with what we look for. Have to do some research here.

Thank you.

We went to Villazzo restaurant in the V Villas (Sofitel) on Petchasim by soi 83. A bit of a walk to the restaurant but the walkway is beautiful. The restaurant is on their infinity pool by the ocean and very nice. Indoor and outdoor dining. I had the best lamb chops ever there and all food, and service was fantastic. Western prices though but we would return.

A bit concerned about you, migrant. A guy from Michigan eating lamb? I cannot post the usual comments made by your countryman about lamb.

LOL, love lamb! Recently had to go to BKK. Gone for 5 days and ate a lamb dish each day since hard to find here in Bang Saphan!!

Wife hates it so another good reason to eat it!!
