Southern Comfort

Post by John Stacey »

Hi All

This may sound like a silly question but I am due to leave for HH in 12 hours and I was wondering if you could advise if Southern Comfort was available in bars in HH or should I bring in my own.
I had a big problem in Phuket , never got used to Mekong/Coke, and had to resort to the good old "Mothers Ruin ".
I am not asking you to name the Bar, advertising and all that, just a yes or no will do and I am sure that within two weeks I shall find it.

Probably, although I'm not a drinker myself (aside from Singha beer!)

If you have a problem finding it, mosey into the Romantic Bar on Soi Bintabaht, make yourself part of the furniture, and ask.

Chris and Puy are some of the nicest people in HH, and are more than happy to buy in bottles for their regulars.

Send them my regards, and tell the girls I miss them all :D

Tom (from England)
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...

John,

Southern Comfort is available here but at import prices. It is advisable to get duty free wherever possible for drinks like that. SC, Bailey's, JD, Kalhua, top brand Scotches and othe top name brands sell here wholesale for about 20 Euros.

White Sprits are always cheaper for some reason so purchase them here.
