Pizza in Hua Hin
Where can I get a thick greasy slice of American style pizza?
Like papa john's if you dig

Can't compare with Pappa John's, but the closest thing I've found to an 'American Style' pizza was at Thai Wai Kikki bar in Khao Takieb. Not particularly greasy though; I think you need to go to Bangkok for that (or Pizza company; but they aren't particularly tasty there...)

Thank you! Thai Wai Kikki bar. Any idea of pricing? Fair? Expensive?

Pizza company. Small. Expensive.

Thai Wai is fairly priced and good fun...
I haven't yet had a better pizza than at Bon Appetit on soi 80, but it's not pizza in the style you are looking for.

Very good pizza.
Re: Pizza in Hua Hin
Pizza company is usually unreasonably priced, but every so often they have a buy one get one free promotion, which just about makes the price okay (around 500 for two large pizzas and delivery).
They *are* a bit bland though. I think they're trying to make them farang friendly and overdoing it. I usually find myself adding salt and msg to bring out the flavors, and plenty of chili.
How are the prices at this Thaiwaii place? Actual numbers please, as your "fairly priced" and my "fairly priced" may greatly differ.

Is the Thai Waii in Takiab operated by the same (American) who had a bar of the same name on Soi 80 years ago? If so, their pizza is very good.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I highly doubt they are trying to make them farang friendly!moater wrote:Pizza company is usually unreasonably priced, but every so often they have a buy one get one free promotion, which just about makes the price okay (around 500 for two large pizzas and delivery).

I also seem to recall that they use cheddar cheese as opposed to Mozzarella which is a bit off considering the prices.
I don't have 'actual numbers' I'm afraid as it's been a while since I last went there, and my Pizza was augmented with a few beers and some french fries. At least half the price of the Pizza company, though. I seem the remember the prices being similar to what you pay for a pizza in most other places in Hua Hin; so around 200bt-ishHow are the prices at this Thaiwaii place? Re: Pizza in Hua Hin
There's a whole long-winded thread about pizza here...

Not sure how many places mentioned in it are still operating in Hua Hin. The thread was started 7 years ago but runs through to 2014.
Hope this helps.
