Tried this place last night the food is delicious they have all the items on the menu that you get in a Chinese restaurant in the UK, crispy Aromatic duck, BBQ spare ribs, pancake rolls the real ones with bean sprouts red pork mushrooms and chicken filling, couldn't find anything wrong with the food and very reasonably priced, going back tonight for some special chow mein and mussels in black bean sauce.

I got a takeaway last night, chicken chop suey, it was terrible. The sauce was so watery (and tasteless) it was immediately soaked up by the expensive rice.
I spoke to a friend who had been twice and had a good chow mein followed by a poor sweet and sour, which also had a watery sauce. I'm waiting for his verdict on the curry he ordered last night.

Re: Chinese Restaurant, Soi 94
The food is very "English" Chinese with a menu from many years ago. Modern Chinese restaurants in Europe now have much more variety including spicy foods, hot pan, etc. from various parts of China. I have tried several dishes and can't complain about the quality. The taste is a bit bland but that is sometimes fine, I don't want chilly in every meal. For what you get the price is OK. The Peking Duck is on the pricey side (240 Baht for small portion). Other dishes are between 140 and 180 Baht. One exception is Lobster which comes in at a massive 1,500 Baht. I won't be trying that.

Thanks for the warning. Though now I'm curious how "English" and "American" Chinese food compares...expat71NL wrote:The food is very "English" Chinese with a menu from many years ago.
