I have always been surprised that places that doa good roast dinner for a few hundred baht, ask almost a thousand when it is turkey instaed of beef/lamb

I don't think there'll be too much turkey on the menu this year.

I don't think it is related t having turkey instead of pork, beef or chicken, there is no penalty rate for Thai staff to work Christmas as it is not a public holiday, it is just overcharging by businesses.

I have just seen a notice on Soi 94 for Xmas Eve buffet dinner at the Grand Hotel 699 Baht, 7pm start.

Is the Grand the hotel next to Grand market, white hotel with top few floors in red?

I like Big Boy cannot eat HUGE meals anymore, the all you can eat buffets have no appeal for me. I see that El_Murphs have a Cmas meal for 850, but if you just want the Main course, no starter, no dessert, which suits me it is 600b
