^ Really no offence, BUT: -

Why would you want it - because it's pink and "trendy"?. Zero health benefits, and much better products on the market. Go for Coarse Rock Salt or Coarse Sea Salt....... ZERO difference to health. Personally - I've used "Cornish Sea Salt"... why it tastes better, who knows.

Sorry... no help.

Well, it matches my pink t-shirts, and on a Friday night I can pretend I'm Walter White ...

But most importantly, because I can taste and feel the difference.

Not at all sure about Cornish Sea Salt, that sound like I may grow an extra couple of thumbs or so.

^ Fair Play.... :D :thumb:

The Cornish Sea Salt has a great taste..... despite the risk of extra thumbs!! :D - not that it would be available in HH. But seriously, give some other Sea Salt a try..

[EDIT] The LHG (my wife) took shed loads of Sea Salt back with her to China last week - some due to the taste, but mainly price. Ridiculously expensive in China.

Interesting, salt is one of my (many) vices, yet I've never come across this pink Himalayan salt before. Nor have I seen it in JD's shop, or I'd probably have been tempted - I go there for a couple of specific items and invariably come out with several more...
Does it really taste different?
I think I'll let Glorfindal (sounds vaguely 'Lord of the Rings) have his/her fix, then try some next month.

You can use it in many recipes, works really well when rubbed into pork skin before roasting, makes brilliant, tasty crackling.

Will do - although I'm a creature of habit, and some it is apparently available, albeit in small quantities...

Thanks for the tips though

imho - yes, it does. Not as bitter, no rushing afterwards etc
I've been using it for years, and am not interested at all in the "hype" surrounding it - but use it purely for the taste.
