Richard my post above is fair and balanced plenty of good info in feeding time. What's the deal here plug your mates establishment for a freebie Steak with all the trimmings you haven't started your networking again have you. :D
And for the record I have zero interest in your friends establishment it always looks empty anyway.

Kendo.

Kendo.
:lach:

1) He's not a mate
2) I don't take freebies. (offered but never taken)
3) How do you know it always looks empty if you don't go? When I take friends I usually have to book to ensure a table
4) Networking? What's that? Arse licking? sorry, not my scene mate.

Anyway Kenny I stand by my statement regardless of 'Feeding Time' the question was about the Best steak in HH and the places in HH are few and far between. BB's is probably 4th on my list but I'm sorry I couldn't name a forum sponsor to top the list

Anyway I can no longer be a judge. Not enough teeth left to manage one  Got to be minced now

Richard I know you like to be controversial but most of your last post is rubbish you have been warned on the forum before for plugging don't open that can of worms buddy.Your last statement if you can't even eat a steak, how can you recommend how good it is around your mates place a bit of a contridction me thinks.

Prime Steak house at the bottom of Thipari City is excellent and the new Admiral a few doors up from Jed Pee hotel is excellent and they are not forum sponsors so no weight in that theory. :D

Also if I observe a place is always empty that's a fact and not really an opinion.

Kendo. :?

Richard what i posted was balanced and fair five weeks ago, all i can see is is that you are plugging your mate's establishment, and now you are disrespecting me, who you are friends with so thats not good mate. :tsk:

However Richard this thread is not about you pipping up at me, and plugging your mate's restaurant it's about steak.

As you know Richard i don't suffer fools and always try to be balanced, if you show me any more disrespect on the open forum i will not be best pleased .

please sober up and PM me if you wish to share your feeling towards me.

A little heavy-handed with the plugging accusations there, kendo.

Is this a plug I see before me? Nope, it's a recommendation. Richard also said he liked the lamb shank at Coco 55 - was that a plug?

It's certainly not a fact unless you stand outside Buffalo Bill's 24/7 during your visits. And it's not very even-handed. BB's has been around for a very long time, so it must be doing something right.
I wouldn't be a mod for all the tea money in Thailand - it's a thankless task- but this forum is a doddle compared to most. Not much intervention needed apart from the occasional :offtopic: and getting rid of spammers. When you start talking about suffering fools and disrespect, it's probably time for a quick reality check. :thumb:

Getting back to the topic...

Not much help to tourists, but I had a steak at home last night that was the best I've had in a very long time. A piece of strip loin from the Boucherie on soi 88. Something of a rare treat at c. 900 baht per kg, but worth every satang.

I'm going to +1 For BB when it comes to steak. And all the times I've passed it or been in it it's been far from empty. To me it looks more like one of the protagonists in this debate has an issue with the establishment, rather than another trying particularly hard to plug it; but I'm just a casual observer :D

I have to say that I really dislike the home-made chips in BB that generally come with the steak; which is a bit unfortunate, but last time I went there there was no issue substituting the chips for a rosti.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Interesting observation and very well put...

Did you realise 'namorado' is an anagram of Dora Moan? and Ada Moron?

Well back to topic.

I also recommend Mayas Bistro (back of soi 80) for a very good steak. Milk monitors please note I'm not promoting this place but merely informing those who are choosy about steak.

Despite my lack of molars I have sampled it (off a friends plate) My preference there is his schnitzels and pork dishes but in true Thai style when with friends we poach each others food hence my knowledge of how good the steak is. :)

However you may need to phone and ask in advance as the patron orders special steak. He has a habit of announcing his specials not only on HHF but also around the imbibing establishments of soi 80 and 88 and the resulting 'steak rush' wipes out his supplies pretty quickly

He may reserve one for you if you speak to him nicely
