I went to Makro today and they had 454 gm packs of Brook Bond Red Label tea at 180 baht and a more upmarket blend at 220 baht.

You can get organic vine-leaf-tea at the hua hin hills vineyards. tastes pretty good by itself but you can also mix it with other teas if you got the leaves

Anyone got any up to date info on the best place to buy tea bags, preferably Tetley, Yorkshire, PG ect.

Tesco Lotus have Lipton yellow at 212 baht for 100 but they are my last choice.

Any Tips appreciated!

I think I've also seen Yorkshire tea in there. Not a tea drinker TBH.

Nany's usually have 2 or 3 brands. Not being a tea drinker didn't take any notice of the brands.

Three horse number 1 is what I drink when I'm in Thailand, you can buy it almost anywhere and although most Brits won't believe me but it's a far better tea than most of the stuff drank in the UK.
It's loose leaf so you'll need a teapot and for God's sake, don't put milk in it!

Thanks, I'll have a wander up there in the next day or so. I have yet to visit. But I'm like Steve, I have given up on UK brands for normal tea, I use a Ceylon tea, from an actual Ceylon tea producer, which I get from Gourmet Market, but only in boxes of 100 and only in a sale and they have a sale on, but have run out of the tea - lol! And milk is a no-no for me as well.

But I also use decaf and I see they have some typhoo decaf in one of their pics, so I will check it out. Apart from what I get sent from the UK, which is currently a no-no, the cheapest decaf I have seen here is actually M&S own label.

And they have Caramac! That's worth a visit on it's own, if they haven't sold out.

If you don't have a problem with Twining's, they have it at Villa. There are also some teas at MV in the wine section. Ceylon, English breakfast, Earl Grey and 1 or 2 others.
