Maybe they need to think about their advertising then. I saw a picture of fish and chips on fb and it looked bloody awful. Be nice to see a menu or something, but that is never shown. I'm on 112 and will give it a go, but there's already a couple of farang places in that area, although I don't go to any of them.

Taking this a stage further, I saw a farang guy with a Thai lady dumping flyers in folks letter boxes on the resort I stay a couple of days ago. The place they were advertising is open for a few hours early evening and there were, I recall, 11 items on the deadly dull menu and the only idea of location was '150 yards past x resort' . I haven't got a clue where the resort was, I'd never heard of it and I certainly wasn't making the effort to find out, In the bin it went.

Went past it at 10m this morning. Was going to stop and try it out. Sign advertising breakfast was on the pavement, but the shutters were down and chairs on the tables.

Anyone know what time it opens at ? Even 10am is too late if it wants any breakfast trade. I didn't see any info on the FB page.

IMO the recent posts have been news about HH restaurants? I want to know how a place recently seems/looks/performs. That me is important 'news'.

Restaurant News is designed for news about openings, closure, moves, changes to opening times etc. If you want to discuss restaurant specifics, open a new thread.

Cafe Dacha on Soi 94 is now open as The Little Mermaid, Thai & European dishes with the accent on Danish cuisine obviously.

So if somebody wishes to recommend a restaurant in some shape or form you want a new thread?

BALONEY!
Let's break that down. If a restaurant has started serving baloney then admins say that does qualify for a post here, but you're not allowed to say if it's good or not.

Is this an inverted 'TIT' moment. :)

We can have news of the reviews and reviews of the news but not news and reviews simultaneously or at the same time.
