The Beer Garden that opened on Soi 94 which someone (the owner ? ) recommended on another thread looks like it had closed down when I drove past on Saturday night. I think it was on the Soi 94 map thread but I can never find the maps!

Soi 94 Map Thread should be a sticky on The Beach Bar download/file.php?id=19353&mode=view

BTW it didn't last long enough to make it onto the map.

I see a rather modern looking restaurant front in Soi 88 just up from the 2 7-11s with what almost reads as All In Hua Hin on the front. Are they moving, or is it a look alike?

LOL - I did wonder - the sign looks like All In Hua Hin, but there's something that doesn't ring quite right.

She's Back !!

That's got your attention. The Chicken Tika Masala lady is back in Soi 88. I was down Soi 88 on Monday and noticed her banner has gone up over a shop house on Soi 88 so I presume she is moving there. Going up Soi 88 from the railway line pass between the two 7/11's and continue until you pass the school on your right. Just after the school is a block of shophouses with one of them having a noodle soup place during the day, she's in that block.

^ this is a follow-up to Pagey's post.

I stopped by and spoke with the boss lady this morning in the location described above. She is open there during the day from 10 to 4 only. The good masala that has a following with this forum usually is not ready till 1'ish. She then closes that place and goes back to her spot in the food court at Big C in the evenings.

Khun Oy's spot at Soi 94 is being taken over by Sakura, I believe they are doing Thai/Isaan food as opposed to their Japanese places. Not sure if Oy's is moving or closed for good.

I'm told that Oy will re-open some time in June in Soi 88, on the Phetkasem side of the railway line. I trust so, as I really can't do without it!

There are plenty of alternatives. Try Eat@huahin, a few metres further up 94 on the opposite side of the road.
