back on topic...
Quite right. It wouldn't be fair to hijack 99ers advertorial thread.

Wait, hang on...

Leave him alone, she of course is doing him a huge favor, it is well documented that the only way to reduce this suicidal activity is to raise the price, 37 or 45 is an insanely low price, 1000 a pack might really help to stop you guys exiting so early and so painfully.

just because something is good value and enjoyed by a few why does it become an advetorial?

The owner here knows I have got them advetorials in the past, on this topic I was merely giving my opinion on a place I have visited

For your benefit why not just change the forum to only advetorials and leave the opinions of people who stay here and frequent the bars and restaurants out of it

If the owners or mods are in any way unhappy with it they can delete the thread

would make not a jot of difference to me

Yes,Yes,Yes
A Forum is open for opinions, the owner is not this thread promoting his place. It is members conversing and sharing there opinion on the establishment. I have orally told friends about the place should I ask the owner to give me money( being obsurd but trying to make a point) Yes Im sure that advertising would be good but if not the place should not be admonished. They did not start the thread so they have not responsibility. just my opinion and this might get deleted too.

After 9 pages, I doubt anything will be deleted.

Why do folks get in such a strop here at times?

Yes, nothing will get deleted (apart from the self promo by the owner 2 pages back), our rules are very very simple, owners and employees are not allowed to promote their own businesses unless they're willing to pay the pittance we charge for advertising. Independent recommendations are welcome, providing they haven't been put up to it by the owner trying to get a freebie, (which happens quite often).

Its a shame a large number of members cannot grasp these simple rules and keep harping on about them.

Me too! Actually I went about an hour too early, so had another small meal instead. The woman owner said the roast finished at 7pm, so I went back around 6pm with a friend, only to find the place empty (no customers) and the lady owner informed me that they had run out of the roast.
So we had Fish and Chips instead.
I wasn't aware then of another Sunday roast place (also 99 baht I think) back down soi 102.

Went there with a friend around 7 this evening and everything was closed - so went down the road to Bobby's and got a good meal there, seems they do a bbq on a Friday starting around 5.30 p.m.

Hope it's not going to become one of those hit-and-miss places like another place that's been discussed on this forum. I suppose it's not so bad if you live around the soi 102 area, but it's a bit of a hike if coming from other parts of Hua Hin.

I'm sure you didn't travel all the way from Pak Nam Pran to visit a 99 baht shop. Closer to the truth would probably be that you came down to Hua Hin, thought you'd nip in to the 99 baht shop while there and it was closed.

I wish we had a poundland where I live... I'd use it all the time being on a teachers salary. :D As it stand I spend double (sometimes triple) that on Thai cuisine in the evening. Would much rather get a nice take away fish and chips tbh.
