What I would love to see is a Sunrise Tacos restaurant. Man that stuff is GOOD!!! Fish Tacos, miss them so much!

Funny, just checked another post - I am not the first person wanting them to open a joint!

I just viewed their website too for the first time. I did not know there were 6 in Bangkok. I usually stay in Sukumvit close to Soi 21 and they have one inside the Terminal 21 shopping mall. They also had one in Jomtien I used to go to.

I lived in Arizona before I came to Thailand and ate allot of Mexican food, Sunrise Tacos is as close to real Mexican food as I have found so far! The other night I went to a Mexican restaurant in the Night Market but it was not very good, I must give the other Mexican Restaurants here a try also... I might be very surprised..

If you like Arizona Mexican food, I wonder if you might be more in favor of "Tex Mex" style? The Mexican restaurant in the night market is more of a "Mexico Mexican" restaurant. Like many nationalities' cooking, there are significant variations.

Back to McDonalds & Market Village for a second (sorry!), it amazes me how long it seems take to get anything done in MV. I remember KFC was being renovated for weeks, and the new carpark complex has taken, what, almost a year to complete now?

Anywhere else in HH you barely get a chance to see the "Coming Soon" sign before the construction has finished. In the shopping centre next to Colonnade mall, baskin robins was gone and replaced by S&P in no time at all.

There seemed to be two places in the night market that had Mexican food. I was with a Thai lady so I choose the one that said "Thai, European and Mexican" I know it's never the best restaurant when they offer too many dishes! But it was really just beef stuffed inside hard shelled tacos with chopped tomatoes on the side, nothing like the real thing.

I will try the other Mexican places in the Night Market, it looks like a restaurant that is ONLY dedicated to Mexican food. Looking forward to it.

Could we stay with the subject, please? Suggest you establish a separate group for Mexican food. Thanks.

Its interesting how much business Mix And Match is doing in their new outside set up. Today, not one table vacant. I looked inside McDs looks like a lot of work to do, no internal fittings installed

Great to hear that McDonalds is there! I am a big fan of McDonalds, because they
are very consistent in the quality of their food. Here at home I can eat in dozens of
restaurants and get good to bad meals, with lousy service, that costs 10 percent tip,
but at McDonalds I get fast food, no tip, no heartburn, or stomache ache after the meal.
In Thailand I eat at many restaurants as well, but sometimes I crave for a Big Mac, or
fries and coffee so to McDonalds I go. Now I don't have to go to near the Hilton to get my
treat!

Not a big fan of multinational fast food joints myself Jack but surely it's down to personal choice and Stargeezer has the right to choose without you cussing him
