Swedish restaurants up for sale

Post by stgrhe »

On a Swedish site I noted that both Cajutan and Erikssons Wärdshus are up for sale, Cajutan for 460,000 Swedish kronor wile the owner of Eriksson Wärdshus apparently wants 1,000,000 for his inn.

One can only draw the conclusion that the restaurant business must be tough these days.

That's sad to hear about Cajutan (converted home on Soi 88/1, just before Market Village Mall going north).

That was one of the classiest small "Mom and Pop" restaurants in town IMO and the food was really good. Last time I looked at it, the website said closed for the summer. I hope they open again in the fall at the same quality level and find the success they need to keep it going.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Hey, know your town man!
Thanks to hhfarang we now know where Kajutan is located and
Erikssons Wärdshus is situated not far from Shopping Mall on Amnuyasin Rd.

So now you know.

You're not wrong with that comment.

The owners are running another restaurant in Sweden during the European summer time. Last year's low season they were open for dinner only but sadly not many customers. Cajutan is indeed a very good restaurant and I hope it stays with the present owners.

Those rumors/posts are more than four years old.
