We had guests arriving so we got a delivery from Cathay Store... they told us the same story... BTW, they are cheaper and just as reliable as Halex was
Agree, the Cathay store is/was cheaper than Halex on most items and that's where I get most of my stock from but Halex carried some high end items (top shelf single malt scotches, top o' the line tequilas, etc.) that the Cathay store just does not stock. Villa Market carries some of them at a premium price but sadly, without Halex I think I'll have to go to Bangkok to get some of my favorite spirits.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

That last post was 2009......... Halex closed and after a while another beverage supplier opened in the same building. I did have his business card somewhere and I am sure someone else on the forum can supply their details.

S'funny the name Halex should pop up again..only last week as I rode past that Italian R/rant Nr City Beach on Poolsuk.. I coulda sworn it was Alex stood talking in there..??
