The best seafood

Post by Barbara »

There are 6 of us staying in Hua Hin in May, and have heard the seafood is the best ever. Can anyone recommend some good places to eat , price not an issue, but on visits to other parts of Thailand I have usually found the best places are the cheapest, where the Thai people eat.

Hi Barbara,

Have a look further down this topic on the forum http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... .php?t=223

As far as seafood goes - Lev's recommendation of Chao Ley is probably a good one!.

Cheers

Peter

Hi there Barbara
Once you try those suggestions in and near Hua Hin, take an afternoon and go up to Cha Am, great uncrowded beach there to relax on until the hunger pangs kick in. Then go to the far North end of town, 5 minute taxi ride. There are a multitude of seafood restaurants there right beside the docks where the fish you will be enjoying are unloaded. The prices are much lower than Hua Hin, and I have not had a bad meal there yet after many visits. These places all have live prawns (various sizes from small to monster), crab, shell (clams ect.), lobster in holding tanks for your choice, and will prepare them to your order.
Enjoy!! :thumb:

On the beach just by the springfield resort between hua hin and cha-am you will find a thai place serving up some genuinely fine seafood. not expensive.
